About This Service
This Christmas Eve, we invite you to pause with us and take a moment to remember why we celebrate Christmas. We will be hosting a Candle Light Service on Christmas Eve at 6:30 PM. The service will be approximately 45 minutes long. We will be singing Christmas Carols, hearing about and celebrating the greatest gift ever given to us, and enjoying time with each other as family and friends. We’d love to see you there!
Is this service kid-friendly?
Absolutely! Kids of all ages will love singing with us. We will have coloring pages available for young kids, and glow sticks to substitute for candles for any kids who are not yet ready to be holding an open flame.
Is childcare available?
During our Christmas Eve Service, we would like our families to stay together and worship as a family, so childcare will not be available. During our regular sunday services, we offer a nursery for infants and toddlers, and children from Preschool age through 5th grade are taught an age appropriate lesson in our classrooms.
What should I wear?
At City, we welcome people wherever they are at in life. People come to church wearing whatever they are comfortable wearing. Pastor Chris usually preaches in jeans and a button up shirt. Pastor Jake usually wears jeans and a t-shirt or hoodie. Others in the church like wearing buisness or business casual styles. Basically, come how you are, you are welcome here! Some of our people love dressing up for special services like Christmas Eve or Easter, so feel free to do so if you would like to!
Where are you located?
We are located at: 3500 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton Ohio, 44709. We are located between the Stark Federal Credit Union and El Campeseno, near Starbucks.
